This four day training is available for those who have completed a CRM Basic Training.
Diagnosing and providing psychotherapy for clients who suffer from severe dissociative disorders and complex PTSD is often a challenge for therapists of all levels of education and experience. Often it is the obstacles to treatment and the protective/perpetrator nature of a dissociative system that renders both therapist and client frustrated and hopeless. Information on how to work with our feelings of being at a loss as to how to navigate such blocks and the belief that the client is "resistant", the treatment modality "doesn't work", or the therapist "isn't good enough" will be addressed in these four days.
This workshop is designed to facilitate one's conceptualization and treatment relevant to the following:
1. Obstacles to the therapy itself
2. Blocks to healing
3. Refusal to resource
4. Fear of being in the body
5. Perpetrator/Protective Ego States
6. Self-injuring and Suicidal Ego States
7. Working with process rather than content
